Happy International Women's Day!
March 8, 2025
We wish everyone a happy International Women's Day!
This year, Dr. Miliku spearheaded and organized the first annual IWD event in the Department of Nutritional Sciences celebrating all the women in STEM with panelists ranging from professors, and clinicians to research associates from different backgrounds. This event, moderated by Maurya, provided inspirational stories to undergraduates, graduates, and other faculty members on how different paths can be taken to reach your dream career as long as you put your mind to a goal.
Every attendee also received a rose to demonstrate that they are appreciated and acknowledged, regardless of gender.
